Our mission at FHS is to cultivate knowledge, to promote civic responsibility, to provide opportunities for the exploration of interests and abilities, to foster positive attitudes, and to develop essential skills necessary for all students to become productive citizens capable of thriving in the dynamic world of the 21st century.

Mr. Howard is May Teacher of the Month  I would like to nominate Shaun Howard for April's Teacher of the Month. Over the past three years, I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Howard. During this time, he has proven himself to be both the ultimate professional and gentleman.
Because of the positive role model that he is, students trust and respect Mr. Howard. Mr. Howard has a great attitude, is firm when necessary, and never disciplines in a demeaning way. He is highly skilled at deescalating negative situations. Mr. Howard is an advocate for all of his students; he doesn't have favorites.
Always willing to lend a hand, Mr. Howard even volunteers to proctor testing sessions. Because of his low-key, calm demeanor, he is wonderful with our students! As a matter of fact, I have requested him as my proctor because he just gives the whole room a good vibe. We are fortunate to have Shaun Howard on our staff; he is a strong asset to the students as well as the teachers.
For all of these reasons, Shaun Howard should be our April Teacher of the Month! ..................................................
